We hate to say it, but the days of Morris Chestnut and Idris Elba heating up our TV screens are nearly behind us. These two not-so-new black actors are currently heating up our TV screens and warming up our social media with melanin delight!

Micheal B. Jordan

When Kill monger took his shirt off to reveal his scarred torso in the Marvel blockbuster, Black Panther, the heat went up several notches! Micheal Bakari Jordan, 31, is an Americn A-list actor  born in Santa Ana, California and raised in Newark, New Jersey. He has acted in both DC (Human Torch in Fantastic Four) and Marvel studio movies (Erik Killmonger in Black Panther). His acting career started early as a child actor and model and blossomed.

Why we love him? Despite being an A-list actor, he is grounded and down to earth and is totally a baby boy who puts family first. He told Vogue about growing up wishing to buy his parents a house and has since done that since 2015.

Kofi Siriboe

Kofi Siriboe, 23, is the melanin delight who plays the role of Ralph Angel Bordelon on Ava DuVernay’s drama series Queen Sugar on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). His acting career started at the early age of 6 as a model in TV commercials. Nana-Kofi was raised by Ghanian parents in Los Angeles.

Why we love him? Well, his million dollar smile to start with and his deeply coated, melanin-soaked skin that just glimmers on screen and in pictures. He was named sexiest man alive by People Magazine in 2017.
