He was born in Lagos, Nigeria before relocating to England at the age of four. He is the nephew of former Nigerian professional footballer Jay Jay Okocha. Today, Mahogany is going to shine her spotlight on the 21 years old Nigerian professional footballer Alex Iwobi. Alex Iwobi doesn’t just play for the Nigerian national team, he also plays for as forward for Premier League club Arsenal.Iwobi started his career as a child, he joined Arsenal football club while still in primary school. Iwobi scored two goals in his first two Premier League starts for Arsenal against Everton and Watford. On October 9, 2016, Iwobi scored his first international goal for Nigeria at a World Cup qualifier against Zambia. He was able to finally secure Nigeria’s seat at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, when he scored the winning goal against Zambia on the 9th of October 2017. Alex Iwobi plays as number 17 for his club Arsenal.
Aside from the fact that he shares resemblance with his uncle, the famous Nigerian footballer, Jay Jay Okocha and he is also a splendid footballer, Iwobi is actually very good looking. Although it seems quite difficult to get him in anything other than his football uniform or tracksuit. It is safe to say that Iwobi is a casual dresser, he probably always just go for anything comfortable which by the way still looks good on him.
